More Clarity in the Latest NFPA Portable Extinguisher Standard

The NFPA 10 Standard for Portable Fire Extinguishers was reorganized in the most recent (2022) edition. Changes include:

• More clarity around visibility for extinguishers
• Updates to labeling
• An update to maintenance requirements that ensures defective gauges are replaced and distorted cylinders are condemned
