How Smart Scan Works
Smart Scan uses artificial intelligence to read the make, model, and serial number directly from a nameplate. Technicians can use it in two key ways:
- Creating new assets – A quick scan automatically populates the essential details needed to build a new asset.
- Looking up existing assets – Scanning a unit in the field immediately pulls up its ServiceTrade record and history, making diagnostics and decision-making much faster.
Every scan also helps improve the AI model, making the tool more accurate as customers continue to use it.
