Anyone who has sat through a vendor conference knows the difference between a room full of sales pitches and a room full of people who actually run service businesses.
TradeConnect is built to be the second kind.
Contractors have known it for years as the Digital Wrap Conference, or DWC. The name is changing but the event that packed rooms and brought people back year after year is not.
Same conference, new name
TradeConnect 2027 runs May 5 to 7 in San Antonio, Texas, and is bringing together a community that is largely made up of ServiceTrade customers, plus the contractors, techs, and operators who show up because the sessions are useful, not for the free swag (although the swag will be attending-worthy!).
If you attended DWC before, you will recognize the format. The 2026 event drew more than 450 attendees over three days, with strong satisfaction scores and a healthy share of first-timers.
What to expect
Three days is enough time to get past the surface-level stuff and into how contractors are actually solving problems. Expect:
- Comprehensive workshops that go beyond overview-level talks
- Peer networking with hundreds of other leaders and technicians
- Hands-on training alongside the contractors setting the pace in their markets
- A technology roadmap session straight from the people building the product
Built for every seat at the table
At TradeConnect, every role that touches a service business gets something out of the trip.
- Owners and GMs see how peers turn service data into higher margins, more revenue per tech, and lower compliance risk
- Service managers trade the paperwork chase for faster quotes and simpler compliance reporting
- Ops and project managers learn how to standardize execution so results don’t depend on who’s on shift
- Finance and IT get direct answers on integrations, ERP data integrity, and audit-ready documentation from the team that built them
- Technicians hear from other fire and mechanical techs who spend less time on paperwork and get home on time
